The course “The Importance of Judgment: from Judgment as an Anxiety Generator to Judgment as a Tool for Improvement” will be held on Nov. 25, 2025 at Confindustria Umbria headquarters.
In work life, as in personal life, judgment is always present: explicit or implicit, it influences thoughts, choices and actions. It often generates anxiety, which can become a brake on professional and relational growth. The goal of this course is to help managers and workers transform judgment from a constraint to a tool for development, recognizing it as a useful resource and feedback to increase self-awareness and improve interpersonal dynamics.
The course will be taught by Andrea Sales, a psychologist psychotherapist, university lecturer and corporate trainer. During the day the topics of the difference between anxiety and fear, the distinction between functional and dysfunctional anxiety, the physiological and emotional effects of anxiety, and the role that evaluation and judgment play in professional relationships will be explored. Special attention will be given to the possibility of considering anxiety not only as a limitation, but as a positive element that can foster better performance and more effective relationships.
The course includes a mix of face-to-face lectures, individual activities and group work, so as to provide participants with practical tools that are immediately applicable in organizational contexts.
