Overview

Human error cannot be eliminated. Quoting Aristotle, “perfect people do not fight, do not lie, do not make mistakes, and do not exist.” The greater the number of people to collaborate and to manage, the greater the chance of making mistakes.

Having an awareness of error, in its aspects of genesis, responsibility, consequences, fallout, potential and serendipity, enables one to deal with it as an ordinarily possible, partially preventable and concretely manageable situation, both on a human and professional level. Through this course, participants will learn how to transform individual error and system error into a knowledge tool “to err less and err better.
