Overview

Digital technology, coupled with the right business model, has enabled companies with limited resources or smaller market shares to dominate, sometimes quickly, sectors that were previously considered “unconquerable.” Companies such as Netflix, Amazon, Google, Apple, Spotify, and Uber have been able to gain important competitive positions, outperforming firms that were at the time larger and more established.

However, understanding and exploiting the opportunities that digital technology offers and responding to market threats with effective and efficient solutions requires specific concepts and tools that are often unknown to most companies.

This course aims to provide, over the course of one day, a set of tools for understanding such scenarios, as well as for implementing and evaluating strategies that embrace new business models based on the latest digital technologies.
