On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Lyrick Theater in Assisi, theGeneral Assembly of Confindustria Umbria was held, during which Giammarco Urbani, CEO of Urbani Tartufi Srl, was elected as the new President of the Association for the two-year period 2025-2027. The appointment represented, as every year, an important moment of confrontation and reflection for the regional business system.

During the private part of the Assembly, reserved for member companies, Riccardo Stefanelli, president of Umbria Business School and SFCU – Sistemi Formativi Confindustria Umbria, opened his contribution with a video of Umbria Business School. The video told, through images, some moments of the School’s activities, emphasizing the deep connection with the territory and Umbrian roots, elements that daily inspire the way of doing training and accompanying the growth of companies and people.

Stefanelli illustrated the contribution of Umbria Business School and SFCU to the development of the regional productive fabric: Umbria Business School throughhigh-level training dedicated to leadership and organizational culture, executive paths and innovative projects such as those onartificial intelligence; SFCU through training in compliance, an area in which it represents a point of reference for the regional productive fabric.

The year 2025 marked an important date for both entities: SFCU celebrated 25 years of activity, with more than 530,000 hours of training delivered and more than 160,000 participants since 2000, while Umbria Business School saw the birth of its Alumni Community, a network designed to enhance and connect those who have shared paths of growth and training.

Thanks to collaborations with universities and institutions of excellence such as UCL School of Management, London School of Economics, Haas School of Business – Berkeley, Luiss Business School, Università degli Studi di Perugia, Università per Stranieri di Perugia and FAI, Umbria Business School brings to Umbria world-class training experiences, strengthening the link between the territory and global management culture.

At the end of the Assembly, Riccardo Stefanelli congratulated Vincenzo Briziarelli, president of FBM spa, who led Confindustria Umbria from 2021 to 2025, for his work over the years and wished Giammarco Urbani well in his work, expressing confidence and collaboration for the future of the association and training system in the region.
