Overview

In organizations, differences of opinion are inevitable. Differences in opinion, sensibilities, and perspectives can create value or lead to misunderstandings, tensions, and conflicts that undermine relationships and results.

The course offers a practical approach to “constructive conflict, that is, the ability to express disagreement, navigate difficult conversations, and defend one’s ideas without damaging professional relationships. Through concrete examples, exercises, and analyses of real-life cases, participants will acquire tools to manage disagreements constructively, improve the quality of their interactions, and transform conflict into an opportunity for growth and collaboration.

Bruno Mastroianni. Philosopher, journalist, communication consultant. Trainer in companies and universities on the management of discussions, conflicts and crisis communication (www.brunomastro.it). Teaches Theory and Practice of Digital Argumentation at the University of Padua, where he also coordinates the workshop “The Gymnasium of Debate.” He has written “The Happy Dispute” and “Arguing is Learning.”
