Overview
The London Immersion is a four-day fall educational experience created through a collaboration between Umbria Business School and the UCL School of Management, one of the best universities in the world, ranked among the top 10 globally.
This unique program is designed for entrepreneurs, managers and professionals who wish to gain in-depth insight into key global macro-trends and develop the strategic skills needed to meet the challenges of the future.
In an era marked by increasing geopolitical uncertainty, global trade tensions, and rapid technological change, the ability to anticipate and guide complex and rapidly evolving scenarios has become essential for leaders and decision-makers.
During the London Immersion, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Take part in prestigious discussion panels led by world-leading experts in the fields of strategy, innovation and emerging technologies.
- Visit centers of excellence and cutting-edge companies to experience first-hand the practical applications of the latest innovations.
- Take an executive course at the UCL School of Management and receive a “Certificate of Executive Education” from the London-based university.

- House of Parliament – Westminster Panel: “AI, Policy & Leadership: Deciding Today to Lead Tomorrow.” Panel discussion with Italian entrepreneurs and journalists operating in the UK.
- Lunch at Casa Solomeo – Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A. (Bond Street): Meeting at the company’s London boutique
- Visit of TATA Consultancy Services, Co-Innovation Lab for UK & Ireland.
- Aperitif and Academy at Campari UK.

Executive Program: “Leadership in Action: Inspiring, Influencing, and Integrating Change in the age of AI”
Paolo Taticchi (Lecturer and Coordinator)
He is professor of Strategy and Sustainability and deputy dean of the UCL School of Management, where he co-directs the UCL Centre for Sustainable Business. An expert in sustainability and strategy, he has trained Fortune 500 executives, taught at prestigious business schools such as Imperial College London, and developed projects on five continents. The author of more than 50 publications, including How to Be Sustainable (2025) and Disruption (2023), his research on impact investing was praised by the Financial Times in 2025. He has given more than 250 lectures and co-founded four companies. Among his awards: “Top 40 Under 40 Business Professors in the World” (2018), mention as the most influential Italian under 40 by Sole 24 Ore (2021-23) and inclusion in the Thinkers50 Radar List (2025).
Raina Brands
She is an academic and consultant committed to promoting sustainable organizational practices through diversity and inclusion. A lecturer at University College London, her research explores how social networks contribute to equitable and sustainable work environments.
Brands argues that inclusive organizations are critical to innovation and sustainable business growth. With his executive education programs, he helps leaders build strategic networks to promote inclusion. His insights, published in leading journals, influence global leaders in creating resilient and sustainable workplaces.
Blaine Landis
He received his doctorate in Organizational Behavior from the University of Cambridge and is currently Associate Professor of Organizations and Innovation at the UCL School of Management. His research focuses on how people deal with challenges and opportunities in informal relationships at work, with a focus on social networks, personality, and interpersonal perception. He uses a variety of methodological approaches.
His research has been published in journals such as Organization Science, Psychological Science, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology and Academy of Management Annals, and covered by media such as The Economist, Wall Street Journal and Harvard Business Review.
John Giamminola
He has led complex teams in multinational and multicultural environments as well as in family businesses, constantly promoting the adoption of advanced technologies and digital transformation processes as central pillars of his strategic approach and change management.
Graduated in Economics from the Catholic University of Milan, Giovanni deepened his education with executive programs at Harvard Business School in Boston. At the Catholic University, he is a member of the Steering Committee of the first Executive Master in “AI-Driven Business Models” and coordinator of the “Sector-Specific Innovation and Process Transformation” course.
He is author of the book “The Augmented Manager: How Artificial Intelligence Makes Management More Effective, Creative, and Strategic.”
